The Story

Pam and I met in 2001 while working for a large restaurant company in Houston, Texas. It soon became very clear that we had a love for each other as well as a love for wine. In 2003, we did the unthinkable; we married in April and in October packed up and moved to Napa. It was time to chase our dream!

Through the next few years I learned from some of the great winemakers of the valley the do's and don'ts in the cellar and felt it was time for Pam and I to take the big plunge. In 2007 we purchased two tons of Napa Valley Syrah, 1/2 ton of Russian River Syrah and 1/2 ton of Russian River Grenache. We had begun. It was working her first harvest that Pam defined our roles by announcing "You're before Bottle, I am after.”

Surviving our first harvest we soon realized that this was definitely our path in life. We vow to produce quality, well-balanced wines to be enjoyed with food as well as on their own. Our passion for having fun with wine amongst our family and friends will drive our business. We will develop wine brands within the label that are unique and that bring a sense of excitement and promote our individuality to our consumers. Our belief is that quality begins in the vineyard. In pursuit of this, we will continue to seek relationships with growers who are committed to what we believe are the key attributes necessary to produce world class wines.
